Tenants automatically get security of tenure and can stay in their rented property indefinitely if the tenancy was created after 10th June 2022 and has lasted for at least 6 months and a valid written notice of termination has not been served. Tenancies of Indefinite duration can still be terminated by either a tenant or landlord on valid grounds
